On Monday, I drove down to spend the day with my college best friends and do a little wedding prep for my friend Shannon, who is getting married in June.
Her wedding is going to be the most adorable thing, totally worthy of Pinterest and wedding blogs. I just can't wait to share it all. We worked on a few wedding DIY projects and she agreed to let me share a little sneak peek on the blog today.
The bride-to-be herself. (Had to hide her wedding dress that was hanging!)
Project #1 - making pinwheels.
Squares of paper cut at each corner into the center.
Fold in every second corner.
Then a little glue, a tack, a stick and a badabing badaboom...pinwheels.
Project #2 - making cupcake flags.
We did have a few little helpers, though, which are crucial to the project's success.
That's all the sneak peeks for now. I can't give it all away just yet. It's a lesson in patience. : )

Cute! I love the pinwheels and cupcakes flags!
LOL at the superimposed cartoon wedding dress - that's hilarious, and confused me for a second cos I thought it was like, a ginormous helium balloon just floating in the background or something! o.O
Ohh can't wait to see this come together! The helpers are adorable and I love how you hid the dress - I was so confused trying to figure out how that was part of the project until I read the caption. Ha!
Those kids are so cute for helping. I think it will all come out awesome, those pinwheels and cupcake flags are cute enough!

What fun. Helping with wedding stuff is so much more fun when it is someone else's. Kind of like playing with someone else's kid. All games until it starts to cry. Then I'm on my merry way. I can't wait to see the final product and wish them smooth sailing in their prep.
Love DIY projects. Can't wait to see all the finished projects come together. I was so confused before I saw the comment why there was a graphic of a wedding dress on the picture (it's been a long morning, haha)

those pinwheels are awesome!! Im in my cousins wedding in August and I can't wait. Fortunately though, she lives two hours away so I don't have to help with DIY projects, which I LOVE, but HATE to do.

I always admire those who are crafty beyond belief. Good for her for doing her wedding decorations. I just don't have that in me.
